变速带（英语：Speedups）用于改变在其中的玩家的速度，其碰撞箱和标准DDRace区域相同。变速带会因有否最高速度而特性不同。

没带有最高速度的变速带只会增加玩家速度，并且不会超过最高水平速度。然而带有最高速度的变速带能让玩家透过触发游戏漏洞超过最高水平速度。
