Mapping is the process of brainstorming, designing, and testing maps. Every mod (gamemode) in Teeworlds utilizes maps as the basis of gameplay.

Todo:

general overview of mapping:

-different types of maps (some mods have special tiles etc) (vanilla, fng, ddnet, etc) (don't explain all of them just get the notion across that maps may use different tiles across mods)

-maps are made in a map editor

-maps are made up of entities, design, and map settings

ddnet specific mapping:

- talk about ddnet mapping guidelines (can also go in depth of oldschool, ddmax maps and their circumnstances)

- short editor guide (but a video is preferred for this, but most of the ones on youtube aren't comprehensive but we can put the nick joy/aoe one)

- more
